Andalusia or Andalucia, to use the Spanish spelling, known as "the gateway to Europe" or "a meeting point of cultures " is a bridge between Africa and Europe, and a meeting place between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean sea.
The splendours of the Andalusian past, with the aid of archaeological remains, ruined towers, patios hidden within old houses and
palaces give to the today traveller an exotic allure which still persists
in these days.
