Isolated in the South plain, the Dhammayazika pagoda "Pertaining the King of Law” (nr 947), with its pentagonal ground plan instead of the usual square base, is an example of the Pagan architecture originality and a cosmic metaphor of the five Buddhas cult. On each of the five side of the base there is a small temple, or perfumed chamber, housing the image of Buddha with the fifth one dedicated to the future Buddha Metteyya. The enclosing wall follows the pentagonal ground plan with five arched gateways each in line with the five shrines.. The shrines and central stupa are set well within a broad and raised platform The stupa (in restoration) sits on three receding terraces ornamented with glazed Jataka plaques subsidiary stupas at the corners.

The temples spread around Minnanthu village, are the most remote on the site, but with superb murals, which include some of the oldest and best preserved in Bagan.
On the west side of the lane winding through Minnanthu is the whitewashed Lemyethna Temple (Nr 447) 'Temple of the Four Faces'. This temple is still in regular use by local villagers and therefore have been white washed. It is a single –storied edifice is built in late Bagan style on a square raised platform with four projecting porches and an upper section of receding terraces, surmounted by an lndian-style curvilinear spire and gilded pagoda.

A short way north, on the opposite side of the lane, stands a trio of shrines conjoined by narrow vaulted passageways. Payathonzu Temple, "Three Temples", was never completed but is renowned for its wonderful paintings of floral motifs, mythical animals, birds, and human figures, the 28 Buddhas of the Past. The murals reveal a Tantric infiuence from forest-dwelling monks who practiced Tantric rituals regarded as debauched by the Theravada order. The temples are of the same form, square in plan with a portico projecting to face the north, on a low-lying platform, the main structure surmounted a curvilinear spire. Only the eastern temple and part of the central one are covered with paintings while the western temple is entirely bare.

Litle North of Payathonzu is Thambula temple (Nr 482). Set in a spacious enclosure, with a tall though in places tumbled wall which has arched gateways at the cardinal points, the Thambula is orientated towards the east, this later style temple is a square single-storey with porches on all four sides, and with receding terraces and a curvilinear spire above. On the hall front pediments the original stucco remains well preserved. Inside the circumambulatory corridor, well lit by two high arched entrances, runs round the central block with the four Buddha statues. The interios walls are adorned with frescoes and mural writings. The paintings, though mainly in faded condition or uncompleted, remain vividly graphic. Among the various Buddha’s we noticed nice dvarapala figures seated in lalitasana.
